1. Objective

By the end, you will choose a simple coordinating conjunction to link two ideas without changing their meaning.

2. I discover

Compare: Il travaille. Which word links the two clauses?

3. I understand

Coordination links words, phrases or clauses of the same level with conjunctions such as mais, ou, et, donc, or, ni, car.

Watch out

Choose the conjunction from the meaning: et adds, mais contrasts, ou offers a choice, donc gives a consequence, car gives a reason.
