🇫🇷 A bit of French culture
When the direct object noun has already been mentioned, French replaces it with a small pronoun placed BEFORE the verb: "Tu vois le film? Oui, je LE vois." (Do you see the movie? Yes, I see it). "le" replaces masculine nouns, "la" feminine ones, "les" plurals. Before a vowel, "le"/"la" shorten to "l'": "Je L'aime" (I love it/him/her).
