🇫🇷 A bit of French culture
French makes heavy use of pronominal (reflexive) verbs: the verb is paired with a pronoun referring back to the subject itself. "Se réveiller" (to wake up) becomes "je ME réveille", "tu TE réveilles", "il SE réveille". These pronouns (me, te, se, nous, vous, se) change with the person. Many everyday verbs are pronominal: se lever, se doucher, se coucher.
