🇫🇷 A bit of French culture
In France, greetings are often accompanied by a kiss on the cheek ("la bise") between friends and family : the number of kisses varies by region (from 1 to 4!). With strangers or in formal settings, people shake hands.
A short dialogue using what you just learned:
"- Bonjour! Comment allez-vous?
• Très bien, merci! Et vous?
• Au revoir, bonne soirée!"
("- Hello! How are you?
• Very well, thank you! And you?
• Goodbye, have a good evening!")
