Introducing yourself
Build a short Albanian introduction with your name, origin, place of residence and an activity.
1. Objective
By the end, you will introduce yourself in four simple Albanian sentences.
2. I discover
Read: “Përshëndetje! Unë quhem Anna. Jam nga Franca. Banoj në Tiranë. Punoj në një hotel.” What information do you understand?
3. I understand
For a simple introduction: Unë quhem… gives your name; Jam nga… gives origin; Banoj në… gives where you live; Punoj… or Studioj… adds an activity. The pronoun unë can often be omitted, but keep it initially while learning.
“Jam nga…” expresses origin. For where you live, use “Banoj në…”.
