Basic imperative — identify and understand
Recognise and use common Albanian imperatives for simple instructions to one or more people.

By the end, you will recognise several common imperative forms for singular and plural/polite you.

Compare: ti shkruan / Shkruaj!; ju shkruani / Shkruani! What happens to the explicit subject in a direct command?
3. I understand
The imperative is used for instructions, invitations and advice. With ti you meet forms such as eja!, hap!, prit!, shkruaj! With ju: ejani!, hapni!, prisni!, shkruani!.
You cannot form every imperative simply by removing the pronoun. Some common forms are irregular, such as eja.
