1. Objective

By the end, you will recognise im/ime and yt/jote with several common nouns.

2. I discover

Compare: libri im / shtëpia ime. The possessor is still ‘me’; why does the possessive change?

3. I understand

Albanian possessives agree with the possessed noun, and their form also depends on the possessor. Useful examples: libri im = my book, shtëpia ime = my house, libri yt = your book, shtëpia jote = your house.
